A newly described chameleon native to the rain forest of far northern Madagascar including Montagne d'Ambre National Park where they are found on the forest floor and on grass tufts. Virtually nothing is known of their natural history or captive husbandry although it assumed that they should be maintained similarly to other members of the genus.
